The Constellation Taurus

This picture was taken with a 50mm lens wide open at f/1.7, and it shows part of the constellation of Taurus. Capella is slightly trailed, but the other stars are OK.

I aimed to photograph the globular clusters M36/37/38 but M37 ended up off the left hand side of the picture. However, several other globular clusters showed up, along with the California nebula which came as a pleasant surprise. At first I mistook it for a cloud lit by light pollution. A close up is shown below.
